In United States Of America, they recognized it as an official US holiday where many employees have that day as a day off. To mark the kickoff of the shopping season, in 1960 they invented the term “Black Friday” when the “Black” refers when a store moved from the “Red” to the “Black”. Meaning when the records from n store’s accounting showed a red ink (Loss) and black ink (Profit). After proper research, all I could find out is the Friday after Thanksgiving.
